Description

The KD Optics TES-VLS35 and TES-VLS40 range are easy to use single mode or mulitmode, hand-held, visible sources used for testing fibre optic cable installations. They are especially useful when testing fibre optic cables close to the terminal equipment.
The TES-VLS35 is cigarette packet sized, whilst the TES-VLS40 is pocket sized, both with a long battery life, making them ideal for local fault finding and continuity checking of single mode fibres.
The TES-VLS40 is rechargeable and comes complete with charger.

The output wavelengths on both the TES-VLS35 & TES-VLS40 are 635nm, approximately nine times brighter than other units operating at 670nm, which means a break or loss is much easier to see; the light will even pass through jacketed cables containing kevlar.
