Description:
The FOMS-FPS is a front facing Patching / Splicing shelf, compact design, high density, suitable for 19 inch or ETSI cabinets, accommodates loose tube, slotted core or ribbon cable, restricted depth guarantees optimum access to the back for cable termination. Splices incoming cables to pigtails.
The front panel accommodates up to 24 standard or 48 small form factor connectors, allowing patching and cross-connecting without opening the shelf. Different connector types can be mixed in the same shelf.
Two FOSC splicing trays are mounted behind the patch panel in the splice & patch version.

Fits in a standard rack (19" and ETSI)
Different mounting options: front, near back, back
44 mm high chassis (one 19" height unit)
Pivoting trays allow easy access to the interior of the shelf
Cable or patchcord entrance possible at the side or back of the shelf
Can be installed in
19" or metric (ETSI) rack sizes
