Description:
The FIST GMS2 is a mixed shelf, 125mm height, accommodates splicing cable to cable or cable to pigtail, through bulkhead adaptors, exiting onto patchcords, or multi fibre cables. Suitable for 19 inch or ETSI cabinets, accommodates loose tube, slotted core or ribbon cables. No re-sleeving required, all on tray fibre radiused prohibiting any losses.

The unit has the following features:
- Accessories are available for termination of most common cable type e.g. loose tube, central core, ribbon fibre
- The UMS (Universal Mounting System) profiles provide the foundation for mounting combinations of SOSA2 modules
- A 24 unit patch panel is provided which can accomodate connector adaptors for all common connector types
- Kevlar termination unit (KTU's) to provide the necessary strain relief when terminating common pigtail types
- a mix of connector adaptors and KTU's
- Factory installed fibre guiding tubes and bend controls for easy but controlled access to fibres and splices

The FIST GMS2 can be installed in Tyco Electronics FIST racks:
FIST-GR2 (FIST Generic Rack)
FIST-UR (FIST Universal Rack)
FIST-WR2 (FIST Wall Mountable Rack)
and other 19" or metric (ETSI) rack sizes
