POINT SYSTEMTM Media Converters/Network Interface Cards
Designed for operation as part of the Point SystemTM, a full range of Ethernet based media converters and Network Interface Devices (NIDs) are available. The NIDs provide remote OAM/IP based management. Transmission is fully compliant to the relevant SDH & SONET standard. Incorporating an SC or LC duplex interface (SFP), these media converters are designed to operate on all types of multimode and singlemode fibre in accordance with ITU standards. Versions are also available with an SFP interface, allowing total network flexibility.
