SFP (mini GBIC) Transceivers A
full range of SFP fibre optic transceivers for Fibre Channel
applications up to 4.25Gb/s. Incorporating an LC duplex interface, this
range of transceivers is designed to operate on all types of multimode and
singlemode fibre in accordance with ISO11801. For DWDM tunable and 200km
options, please see our Regenerator/Waveshifter solutions in the Transmission
Equipment section.
Bi-Directional (BiDi) versions are also available which allow single fibre operation, effectively doubling the network capacity.
To ensure full operation with the relevant transmission equipment, please specify the OEM code (-O in the part no.) CWDM and DWDM versions are available which enable up to 45 wavelengths to be transmitted on the same fibre. The actual wavelength can be identified via the colour coding of the transceiver. Please enter the channel no. -Cxx or -Dxx as in Tables 1 and 2 respectively. Bi-directional devices are specified using wavelength code ab as shown in Table 3.
