The Passcomm designed anti-vandal telephone housing CAB-BOP-TEL-A/T has been issued with PADS numbers and certification. This was achieved after much work with the manufacturer - Austin Taylor, and with Network Rail personnel. The box was put through a number of tests to prove its suitability, as well as ingress protection tests. A number of novel features have been incorporated into the box that were suggested by installers and maintainers, such as a sloping cradle for the phone to prevent it from dislodging and gland holes in the base that line up with the phone position.
