FTTx Multiport EDFAs

19" rack mounted Erbium Doped Fibre Ampliers for FTTx applications. A single input (6dBm in the 1540 to 1560nm range) is amplified to multiple output ports. Class leading power consumption (< 55W) and a wide operating temperature (-40 to 65degC) ensure optimum low noise performance and reliablity. All connections are SC connectors.

1U, 19" rack mounted Erbium Doped Fibre Amplifiers for CWDM and DWDM applications. A single input fibre carrying multiple wavelengths is amplified to a single fibre output port. Specific versions are available with optimized performance for booster, in-line and pre-amplifier applications. Class leading power consumption and a wide operating temperature (-10 to 70degC) ensure optimum low noise performance and reliablity. All connections are SC connectors.

Other versions are available with Mid Stage Access to allow integration of dispersion compensation or wavelength add/drops. Please contact us for full details.

RAMAN Amplifiers 

1U, 19" rack mounted RAMAN Amplifiers for CWDM and DWDM applications. Multiple pump lasers are combined to launch power into the transmission fibre, resulting in the amplification of optical signals along the transmission path. Class leading power consumption and a wide operating temperature (-10 to 70degC) ensure optimum low noise performance and reliablity. All connections are SC connectors.
